Special Consideration Application for 
                                      Medical Laboratory Assistant/Technicians (MLA/T)
 
The Special Consideration application process is designed to assess the academic and clinical experience of individuals to determine their eligibility to take the MLPAO MLA/T Certification Exam.
 
Before you apply, please read and self-evaluate your knowledge and skills with the Competency Guidelines. This document illustrates the competencies expected of an entry-level Medical Laboratory Assistant/Technician (MLA/T).
 
The Application fee does not inlude the exam registration fee. If approved, the exam registration fee will be required to register for an exam date within 1 year of the application approval. 
 
Application fees are non-refundable.
